Incredibles 2

Synopsis

Taking place immediately after the first film, the end of which introduces The Underminer, the Parr family struggles to maintain normal lives while Helen Parr, also known as Elastigirl, is out fighting crime and campaigning for the return of supers. Meanwhile, Helen's husband Bob Parr, also known as Mr. Incredible, remains at home watching their children Violet, Dash and Jack-Jack, discovering the secret powers of the latter in the process. However, they, along with Frozone, will have to battle the Underminer with a sinister plot.

Production timeline

March 18, 2014: Along with Cars 3, first announced and confirmed by Pixar on this date.
October 8, 2015: Incredibles 2 was assigned a release date of June 21, 2019.
October 26, 2016: The final release date of June 15, 2018 for this film was confirmed due to Toy Story 4's production problems (as well as the fact that that film was unveiled eight months after Incredibles 2 and Cars 3).
