6James and the Giant Peach premiered in theaters on April 12, 1996. Half a year later, on October 15, 1996, it became available on VHS, at a price of $19.99. This VHS was replaced by a new Special Edition in 2000.


Synopsis

Take a bite out of Disney's delicious fantasy adventure, James and the Giant Peach, a wildly imaginative tale about a boy who journeys to a wondrous city 'where dreams come true'. When James spills a pouch of magic crocodile tongues in his yard, a giant peach grows as huge as a house. Television broadcasts

James and the Giant Peach made its TV premiere on the Disney Channel on April 20, 1997, and aired through April 10, 1998. After a two-year hiatus, it returned to the Disney Channel on May 6, 2000, and aired a few times more through May 3, 2001.
