This is a list of Barney Home Videos during the first generation of Barney & Friends (1992-1997) and the video series before it, Barney & the Backyard Gang.
Barney & the Backyard Gang (1988-1991)
As some of you know, Barney & the Backyard Gang is a video series that existed before Barney & Friends aired on PBS in 1992. There are eight videos in this series. In some videos, "I Love You" is always sung in the beginning or the end of the video. Each video was also available in audio cassette format. The videos are:

Legacy
Around April 2000, all Barney Home Video titles from the first generation gradually began to go out of print, except Imagination Island, Barney Live! in New York City, and Barney Songs. The only two videos that were re-released as part of the Classic Collection were Barney in Concert and Barney's Alphabet Zoo, neither of which ever got a DVD.
Imagination Island and Barney Songs were the only two titles that got DVDs, while only the circus scenes from Barney Live! in New York City and The Exercise Circus were available as bonus features to "Barney's Super Singing Circus" in 2000.
After June 2006, HiT Entertainment (the current rights owner at the time) discontinued further plans on releasing pre-1997 Barney Home Videos on DVD, a year before the first three seasons made their way to Sprout.
All eight Backyard Gang videos were uploaded to YouTube by "barneycrazy12" from October 15–17, 2015, the only exception being "A Day at the Beach", which was uploaded on November 21. They still remain on YouTube to this day.
